2020 Rum Races

May-September

Three, Two, One, GO! Put your weekend into high gear and come over to South Coast Sailing Adventures and join us in the annual Rum Race Series! The Rum Race Series is an annual event sponsored by the Galveston Bay Cruising Association and Cruzan Rum. The races are intended for fun, informal racing. Sailors of all experience levels are welcome! What a great opportunity for anyone to gain sailing experience in a competitive environment. The total course length is 11 nautical miles. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy on board. Space is limited in each race, so register early!

Schedule

(Start times are tentative and may be subject to change)

3:00 pm  Arrive at SCSA

3:30-4:00 pm  Depart for the dock

4:30-5:30 pm Race start time depending on the PHRF rating

After race, return to dock, clean and secure boat. Approximate return time 7:00 pm
