Warm island sun and the lazy days of summer call for a getaway like no other. Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104)

A more advanced course for students with some cruising experience. Beginning Friday evening 2 day, 2 night live aboard adventure that teaches students to sail a 30-50 ft boat by day in coastal waters as both skipper and crew. This course covers topics such as meal planning and provisioning, boat systems and general maintenance. Also covered are basic navigation skills and chart plotting, VHF operations, rules of the road, anchoring skills, maneuvers under power, man overboard recovery and more docking.

Prerequisites: ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Certification & ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising

ASA 104 Bareboat Chartering Certification
