Students learn to safely act as skipper and crew of a sailing vessel from 30-50 ft. in length in coastal and inland waters in any conditions. Students will learn how to describe and predict weather, anchor in different conditions, handle an engine breakdown in emergency situations, and much more! Class will begin Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at SCSA.
Prerequisites: ASA 101, 103, 104, & 105 (Basic Keelboat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation)
ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising Certification
