“The Clear Lake Racing Association is an informal association of sailing enthusiasts from all the sailing clubs around the Houston/Galveston Bay area. During the months of April through September, there is enough light left over in the day for us to get off work and head for the docks to launch our boats and get in a sailboat race. It’s a great mid-week break, and the short distances between marks and complex winds provide a great venue to sharpen boat and sail handling skills. After the race, we gather at the Villa Capri where trophies are presented, food and drink is enjoyed, and stories may just get enhanced a little. There are 5 series with each series divided into 4 weeks of races, with sponsored prizes for each race.”  — Clear Lake Racing Association

With a start time of 6:15 pm, we will meet at South Coast Sailing Adventures at 5:00 pm to prepare the boat and head to the start line. Races will generally end between 7:30 pm—8:00 pm.
