This flotilla will sail down to Galveston and join up with our Combo (ASA 103 & 104) class for the 2010 Mardi Gras Celebrations. It will consist of 2 days and 1 overnight in Galveston. Meet at SCSA office at 9:00 a.m. for Skipper/Crew Briefing and leave at 9:30 a. m. on Saturday morning.
Everyone will be responsible for his/her own food and beverages for the weekend and will need sack lunches for eating while sailng on Saturday and Sunday. Provisions are available within a mile of the office. Berth onboard a boat will be available on Friday night ($50 per sailor).
We will berth overnight at Galveston Yacht Club on Saturday for the food, parades, and of course, the BEADS!! The main event is thelarge Krewe of Gambrinus Parade on Seawall Boulevard Saturday evening at 6:00 pm. The group will set sail for home shortly after lunch on Sunday, so as to return to the marina before dusk.
Club Members: $200 Single sailor and $350 double; Non-Club members: $275 per sailor and $450 double
