Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103) and Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104) combined into a 3 day, 2 nights live aboard adventure. Students learn safe cruising in local and regional waters as both skipper and crew in moderate winds and sea conditions on a 30 to 50 ft boat sailing by day in coastal waters. This includes instruction on meal planning and provisioning, boat systems, general maintenance, VHF radio operation, basic chart plotting and anchoring skills. Also covered in this combination class are maneuvers under power, such as turning in tight quarters, man overboard recovery and more docking!
